My Ex-girlfriend who is divorcing her husband received a letter that a visa is available for her last year. My questions are this : What are the repurcussions of her not responding back to the letter. And will they grant her a visa if she is divorcing the Alien Relative that petitoned for her? If she does not want the visa and replies that she doesn't want it then what happens to her immigration status?
