USCIS Processing

I-94 arrival/departure information

I am an American Citizen and Bringing my Italian bride to the USA. We are filing the I-130 petition so she may be able to get the immigration visa to return as a permanent resident. She is now in the US as a tourist. On the I-130 form section C, number 14 it asks for arrival/Departure Record(I-94)and the date arrived/Departed.

RFE Mailing Addresses for the National Benefits Center

The USCIS is notoriously bad at providing easy to find and accurate information. In many instances even immigration lawyers don't have easy access to the information we need. One piece of information that has been well-hidden by the USCIS are the mailing addresses for Requests for Evidence or RFE's. If you receive an RFE from the National Benefits Center or NBC here's where to mail your response:

Overnight Courier (UPS and FedEx)

USCIS/NBC
Attn: RFE Response
850 NW Chipman Road, Ste 5000
Lee's Summit, MO 64063

Standard Mail

USCIS/NBC

What address should I use on Form I-130 if I plan to move?

Good question and valid concern. I think that the best thing to do is to use any permanent address you have. I think that using the relative's address in the case is a good solution. However, I would indicate this in the your cover letter to the USCIS and explain why you have using an alternate address.
