how many passport type photos need be submitted with form I-129F
Posted February 28th, 2008 by Randy
The instructions on form I-129F state give USCIS"a" passport-style color photo for you and "a" passport-style color photo for your fiance(e). This site states "4" each. How many need to be submitted?
Also this site mentions form I-134 be submitted with form I-129F and is not mentioned in the instructions on the form I-129F. Should I submit form I-134?
Its important to always
Its important to always follow the information and instructions on the form. However, sometimes the information on this site varies from the instructions either because the USCIS form has been updated and the information on the site hasn't or Visaamigo.com has some other reason for a different recommendation. In this case,. our instructions recommend 4 photographs because many times additional photographs are needed further along in the process. You only need to submit 1 photo of yourself and 1 photo of your fiance with Form I-129F.
With respect to the I-134, the I-129F instructions do not require it; however, the form will be required for consular processing so it makes sense to prepare it and submit it now. The U.S. embassy may ask for it again during consular processing if they don't receive it from the USCIS so make sure to keep a copy to send later if requested.
