The following is a non-exclusive list of persons who may qualify for an EAD.

1. Adjustment of Status Applicants.

2. Non-immigrant Fiance (K-1) of US Citizens and/or his or her dependent (K-2).

3. F-1 students seeking Optional Practical Training (OPT).

4. F-1 students offered off-campus employment under the sponsorship of a qualifying international organization.

5. F-1 students seeking off-campus employment due to severe economic hardship.

6. The spouse or minor child of an exchange visitor (J1).
