STEP 9: Marriage

Once your fiance has obtained her visa and arrived in the U.S. you must be married withing 90 days from the date of her arrival. This is very important as your fiance's lawful status will expire and she will be considered "out-of-status" if you are not married within 90 days of your fiance's arrival.

If you and your fiance decide not to be married, it is very important that your fiance depart the U.S. before the 90 day period expires or he may have trouble returning to the U.S. for any purpose.

After you are married to your fiance you can proceed to the final step of the fiance vias process: Adjustment of Status.
