New N-400 Naturalization Form

The USCIS announced that it has issued a new version of the N-400 which is the form for applying for U.S. Citizenship. The new edition is dated 1/22/09 but certain previous editions will be accepted until further notice. The new form can be downloaded from the USCIS website.

In addition to the new N-400 form, on March 10, 2009 the USCIS released a list of naturalization publications for applicants for citizenship. The list includes study guides and other materials to help applicants prepare for their naturalization examination.
